Angels will win the division and Pujols will have 15 hrs by the All-Star Break
Hope you're right, but it looks very unlikely. The offense (not just Pujols) is stagnant. We don't hit enough and then when we do, we waste it, such as hitting a leadoff double and then not moving him over at all. Doesn't help that Pujols is hitting in the 3 spot and batting .194. At least the starting pitching looks great.

There's also Vernon Wells who is getting paid 25M to hit like a minor leaguer. THey should get better soon, very good starting pitching and Pujols can't stay this bad, but I don't see them catching up to the Rangers at this point. The second wild card will help. Also their lineup is really RH dominant.

9 Right handers and 2 switch hitters I believe in our lineup. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about Wells. No one will take that horrible contract for his mediocre production. I read a stat where he is batting over .300 with the bases empty but around .100 with runners on, so his stats are actually inflated. We finally had to just cut Abreu and take his salary hit, but unfortunately I don't see that happening with Wells.
I don't care if you're a modern day Ted Williams, no player in any sport is worth that much money. Especially at Pujols's age.
