Dude had to drink is own urine to survive. He is suing for $20m. I don't know what the law says on cases like this or how strong his case is (calling Sideout) but $20m feels like a steal for the DEA. When the government almost kills you in a way that most people would find horrifying (imagine just sitting in a cell all alone, handcuffed in a pool of you own waste and slowly dying of dehydration) I would think a jury would be willing to give him a multiple of that. Crazy...
