It would be worth it to most players. It wouldn't create a divide because even most players that aren't willing to part with the coin would be intrigued. If a player doesn't want to play gainst a DLC team, they could just back out - and find a new opponent.

I dunno about "most". Nonetheless, we're never going to see it so it doesn't really matter. We've got more of a chance of seeing the Eagles old school uniforms with the white helmet and green wing (1969-70) which I've been bugging EA to include for years. Dump the stupid yellow and blue one and replace it with the other.

I had a dream that the Eagles beat the Pats to win the Super Bowl this season. Desean Jackson was the Super Bowl MVP. The Eagles won 45-7 and the Pats' only TD was a late-game Tom Brady to T.O. for 6. The Pats had signed T.O. midseason after Chad Johnson suffered a season ending ACL injury. Never say never.

EA's looking for ways to make the game better and generate more revenue. This is one very simple and immediately applicable way.

They could make more money by making the game play great, applying a fully functional Online Franchise (which they have never, ever done) to appeal new customers and bring back the older PS2 guys who bailed on the title when they never met the expectations on NextGen. At the end of the day, it comes down to game play and functionality, not how many other subsequent things that can be added to produce cheap DLC for revenue.

Personally, I don't care who the cover athlete is, MUT cards, announcers, life-like halftime shows and presentations. I buy it to play the game, not look/listen to it

The game is going to be good. Of that, I have no doubt. It would be cool to have more teams though. Playing with authentic teams from the past would be awesome.

Good thing it was only a dream. Because in mine the Giants eliminate the Eagles in the divisional round. Also, replace DeSean with Nicks ;-)
Welker a possesion WR's just like all Caucasian WR's so when you can no longer do that, you gotta sit the bench or learn how to kick FGs or Punts -STICKTHEVICKTIM

I'll have both of you slumped and jaw-dropped if it happens though. You know you're gonna start thinking it if the Pats sign T.O. midseason.

Madden is awesome... because two best friends (a steelers fan and a browns fan ) can get in the lab and work on x's and o's, sharing ideas along the way one minute and be in a no holds barred battle for bragging rights the next. because I can watch the greatest game in the world on sunday and apply the game winning pass play to my arsenal in Madden. because I can learn a new play in the lab and see something just like it on sunday. because ive been playing it for 20 years and it is still fun

Plus, that DSLC you are talking about really wouldn't bring back all of the old heads because they want to play online franchise. your proposal would mean everyone in the league would have to purchase everything. They came up with a great idea to get DLC in Tiger Woods. You can use the coins earned to actually make purchases for DLC courses or even upgrade from the regular edition to the Collector's Edition. I did the upgrade, cost me 75,000 coins. I usually end up with 600-650 coins after each round. No money out of my pocket, I earn it thru gameplay. Awesome.

I am glad you liked this DLC system as most people complained. Atleast the option to get the courses for free makes sense to me too. Good stuff, I knew the second I heard about country clubs at Tiger 13 Comm day it was going to be great.

They did a good job on this, it's a true reward for playing the game a lot.

I think it's a little more difficult for people on the Xbox side though because they still need to use MS Points for full unlocked purchases. I think they can still use them to "rent" rounds though. That may be where the discontent mostly came from. But once they Gold Master the course they should own it. Probably takes about 5-6 rounds of play on a course to get to gold. On the PS3 side, it's a straight trade-off. Use the coins you earned to make the purchase (18,000 coins for a course. I typically earn 620 - 680 coins a round).

I was able to upgrade to the Collector's Edition for 75,000 coins. I got another 5 courses, the Practice Facility and the set of Master's Golf Clubs with that upgrade.

The Country Clubs are kickass. There's a couple of minor things they need to fix but all in all, it rocks. We have a full chat lobby for our CC where we can challenge each other or go out and challenge other CC's. We also get to set up our own in-house tourneys as well, that's my fav feature. It's all supported by a ton of statistical info for the club. each week, the top player's for the week get to represent the country club in EA tourney events against other clubs which is a really nice feature.

TW13 itself is a really fun game, best iteration to date. As with any game, we're waiting on a patch to fix some bugs but overall, really having a blast with it. If anyone out there has it or is going to get it, feel free to join our Country Club. We're called Ball Bangers CC on the PS3. We also have a Facebook Group page for the club where we share info on how to play better, list the club tourneys in Events and just BS about the game in general. Good times.

Madden just isn't fun to me no more. I guess cause I spend all my time playing Black Ops even though it's been out since 2010 I still find myself playing it. Yea I got to deal with campers and what not but it's still fun to run around shooting people. I haven't even bought my MW3 because I can't get off Black Ops. But I will when Black Ops 2 comes out in November

Back to the topic. Madden use to be fun. I guess the fun went away because most of the guys I usually lab with and play with we don't get many games in no more. Plus the game just isn't fun. I mean I'm looking at the video Calhoun posted and I'm asking myself when the guy caught from the Chargers caught the TD pass why the hell is the defender just sitting there like he is frozen? He didn't make a play on the ball or anything he just stood there. But maybe when Madden 13 comes out I can get back to playing people I normally play we can get a league going and Madden will be fun again. If not yall can catch me on Black Ops 2
All the Wolves are on 360. Grrrrrrrrr
