Cool Are the days of free madden forums drawing to a close?

Here something that you might not realize. Are the days of having free madden forums may be drawing to a close. Check this out most forums now have like elite madden memberships. Reason being to be in this space that they occupy they have to paid to continue to be there. That iisnt cheap and there is so many ebooks and guides that you can try to peddle off that the madden player or consumer is going to buy. Just like with the internet and orther new ideals such as youtube and facebook and orther media outlets. The bottum line is to get paid for your knowledge. Now with some of the new madden forums you have the free package which doesnt get you past first base. Plus you have the orther packages that look to make the forums much money. If you think im just ranting look at the gamming market. Xbox has made millions offer the gammer. You have to pay either monthly or every 3 months or yearly for the right to play on Xbox live system. Now think if the madden forums would begin to put this into there game plan as well. It just seem that on the horizion that the days of free madden forums might be number. Peace ALC

These forums will always be free, SGibs put out over 100 Madden Daily shows last year totally free, and we also did 20 two hour webcast called "This Week In Madden" where we break down questions live for free, so I don't think its going anywhere. I would say more content is available now than ever before for totally free.

Along with good insight too, I found you guys on YouTube because of the Weekly Show by Stephen and after many views I bought a playbook. Both you and Stephen have been very helpful with your insight and tips.

It's all about legally licensing the material you are trying to make money from. If you are visiting unauthorized Madden sites, those who have not acquired the right to use game images, game video and other copyrighted material from Madden, then they are trying to skate around the legal licensing by charging you to be a "member" of their website. The bait is their Madden items are "free" for you if you are an "elite" member or whatever label they want to put on it. But it really isn't free because you still paid them, just not directly for a guide or other material.

This website provides a ton of free info legally as well as their direct pay-for guides because Prima owns this joint and has paid EA the fees for the rights to do so. There's no real conspiracy, it's just the legal protection of intellectual property. Much in the same way EA has to pay the NFL and NFLPA for the rights to use the NFL logo, team names and logos, player names and likenesses, etc.
