NCAA13 Demo is out on XBL

    Games are...

    USC vs Oregon
    Baylor vs K-State
    Bama vs LSU

It plays very smooth, but I think the difficulty is set to Pro. It's ridiculously easy making it difficult to really assess anything.

If you can rocket the C-routes, you can break 100.

Yeah I was kinda hoping to just be able to pick a team and offense/defense style and play. I'm not real familiar with NCAA; Is there a way to see what O/D style those teams are running? There doesn't seem to be a way to change the playstyle/playbooks.

So I guess it's hard to get an idea of what kind of O/D you want to run unless one of those teams/styles are what you want.

USC runs pro style. Oregon and Baylor run spreads. The others run multiple styles - which means its a hybrid - usually between a Pro and Spread -or- Pro and Option.

This is my first exposure to NCAA as well. I didn't do an in-depth analysis of game play but it seems very similar to Madden 12 but the control of the players while user catching seems comparatively better. I messed around w/Bama last night and some of the Bama Shotgun plays appear to be pretty similar to Philly's PB. I may give this a shot this year.

Gav, do u and some of the more popular dudes on the sight (e.g., Calhoun & Nevada) use NCAA as a means to develop play styles for Madden?

I'm sure that others do, but I'm pretty simple. I just use it as fodder until Madden drops.

    Fodder here as well....

btw if you have the season ticket the game is downloadable right now....

of course I'm only at 6% but its on it's way

picked season pass at the start of madden last year - madden early release, ncaa 13 early release and a discount on fifa euro12 are the only things i've taken advantage with the season pass. Here is hoping madden 13 early release falls into last years subscription)
