Anyone remember the off-season of the NBA? We kept seeing Kevin Durant throw up monster numbers in Rucker Park, random pickup games ect

Looks like all that time paid off for him & his team.

i wouldnt crown OKC just yet.... i think one thing miami learned the last 10 games was that Lebron James is a much more dominant player when he trying to score 50 points and attacking the rim to score for himself instead of playing point forward and getting everyone involved.

I think the lebron that goes for 38-40 points and 10-15 rebounds with 1 assist is a much more dominant and valuable player then the lebron that goes for 29-9-8. It allows the other guys who play better with the ball in their hands to get those touches, gives more flow to the offense, and really puts defenses on their heels when lebron is just going to the hoop every time he touches it.

if he can beast out at PF again in this series, im not so sure the thunder will roll

Think it also helps that the Heat have much better individual defenders (LeBron, Wade, Battier) than anyone else the Thunder have faced this postseason. That's a huge obstacle for a team that goes iso as much as the Thunder do with Durant/Russ/Harden. Also having Bosh back is gonna keep Ibaka out of the paint, opening things up for LeBron/Wade.

Home court is huge for the Thunder though. Gonna be real tough for Miami to hold all three of their home games in a row, meaning they'd have to probably close out the Finals on the road.
