MLDF 360 sim league looking for six new owners to fill out first madden 13 franchise
So the MLDF is a 360 sim league I've been running first as a multi-player offline franchise going back to Madden 2001(ps2 days) which went online three games ago. At it's biggest we had 26 user controlled teams last season and this year we currently have 26 confirmed user controlled teams right now and we are hoping to recruit SIX new owners prior to the new games release to give us a complete 32 teams controlled by users to start the first season of our madden 13 online franchise.
Specifics:
Advance schedule:
Our advance schedule runs a bit slower then some others in that we play in sync with the real life NFL schedule. We play one game a week during the week it is scheduled for in real life(ex. we play week one games during week one of the regular season). We advance every Monday night and Im typically pretty strict on advance days but can make exceptions if real life issues create a justifiable reason to postpone the advance time for a few hours.
Why do we run on this type of schedule?
A big reason why my current owners like our schedule and have stuck with the MLDF is because it allows them to live their busy lives and still be part of a competitive league without having to worry about a rapid pace advance schedule that many leagues run which is sometimes hard to keep up with(the advance every 48 hour leagues etc).
Also with EA's inclusion of practice sessions and XP in this years game it gives us even more of a reason to stick to the one game a week rule as every owner/coach will now need the preparation time every week to better prepare their teams prior to their games.
Roster Transactions:
We will be using the in game salary cap as well as cap penalties for going over the cap to keep an even playing field.
The commissionaire(me) reviews and must approve all trades before they go through.
In game rules:
We have strict rules against the well known forms of in game cheezing and adapt our rules every year to correspond with whatever glitches/exploits the new game will present.
