are you guys excited at all about the hot routed fade being back in the game? the angle of the fade isn't what it once was but it gives you a outside release rather then just a stock streak.
inside the 10 yardline you will still get the endzone fade which is nice (and toned wayyyyy down)
this is a great route to use to get better positioning for user catches

Is that the preferred route now if you want to throw a back shoulder sideline pass? Or is it better to just do a streak and then lead down and out if coverage is stopping the deep ball?

it depends. if I know theres up top help im going to use a fade and throw towards the sideline. if theres no help ill just leave the streak for inside position and beat them in the seam
it just adds a ton of value to how you want your receiver to release off the bump

Thanks, I'm slowly expanding.
For those seam routes, assuming you need to have a somewhat accurate qb to lead to inside/outside shoulder with WR or TE to keep the ball away from the safety? Or do you think THP is more important for squeezing the ball into those tight spaces? Also does it seem like there's a bigger difference between those different qb's or is it like last year where you could use a rookie qb in the 70's and have almost as much success as with a 85-92 qb?
right now i feel like qbs arent mattering as much as they did for madden 12 - keep in mind this is very early in how i feel about the game.
need more time and need more games against people other then farls hahahhaa

Fair enough, and I know how it is only playing against one player all of the time. Learn each other's tendencies and the game is less about the players and more about guessing what the other person is going to do and knowing what's coming ahead of time.
I really hope they tone down the jump ball as it is a 99% completion with tall WR's
and Nerf the TE's a bit, they seem to be the go to guys in the franchise I'm in!

endzone fade is basically gone - still working on how to get it to be effective but for the most part dont even worry about it anymore

huge - you really need a big target and a guy with AMAZING CIT. bc of the new catch tackles if you dont have CIT you drop sooooo many balls
