Also, for my money Kerry Wood's 20-k game was the most dominant game of all-time. This was also against the Astros, not to take anything away from him.

That Wood game was amazing. I think I also remember a game where Peavy struck out around 20 or so.
Cain will certainly be buying Melky a nice dinner, he made some great plays in the outfield. Still, happy there wasn't any controversy (Santana) and this will be looked at as one of the best performances of all-time.

The Wood game happened during the NBA playoffs and came out of nowhere. Three balls were put into fair territory that game, and the one hit was arguably an error. Shame his career was marred by injury and a general inability to completely harness his velocity.

I knock the Keery Wood game down a few spots because he was aided by a Jerry Meals and his massive strike zone. If you ever watch a replay of that game, you'll see that Wood was getting strikes for balls that were 6 inches off the plate. Astros had no chance when they had to protect against stuff that wasn't close to being a strike.
