As a black man, I agree with a lot of this

Doesn't make me uncomfortable but the same energy and thoughtfulness or thoughtlessness put into this thread or story could be used for more positive discussions or actions than berating one because of color.

Who is berating anybody? The fact that you would interpret observation on a benign -- but rarely openly discussed racial matter -- indicates that you are, in fact, uncomfortable with the subject matter.

It's the truth though, let's face it a lot of stereotypes are true. Hell a lot of people act foolish and like we are entitled to something. We lack priorities, quick to be offended, searching for "power nuggets", and just acting like wild animals for no damn reason. Not all but a good percentage.

Precisely. All stereotypes are rooted in some measure of truth,for better or for worse, regardless of race of socioeconomic status. People take too much offense to them on the basis of it either not applying to them directly, or their inability to process that it does apply to them directly.

You mention rarely open discussed racial matter when in fact my friends and I had some of these conversations about 15 years ago. Recently had one with my nephew who is Caucasian who mentioned kids were acting black. So the presumption that race issues bother me us absurd. Besides some of my best friends are white

You are all over the place. I'll rephrase and say that you aren't uncomfortable. You just don't have a grasp on the conversation at hand. I don't think anybody on this thread is being abrasive or insensitive. For some reason that you have yet to explain, you found the article personally offensive; so you summarily dismissed both the article and the thread as one of the stupidest ever without providing any reason, and painted your words it with some generalized jibber-jabber that wasn't applicable.

Now you are telling me that discussing such matters privately 15 years ago, and more recently with your nephew equates to having a public conversation among both blacks and whites. I'm curious as to why those private conversations held value, but this is one of the stupidest ever.

Never said I was an expert like you just voiced my opinion but its obvious that your an expert on race relations or is it that you just don't like my opinion. I thought the article was berating never said anyones comments on here was although some were funny. Like I said could have been energy used elsewhere.
