    Gamertag: why reck

    team ratings

i just saw the team ratings and i was shocked....first off i think they rated too harsh...no team in the 90's....4 teams in the 60's. the teams that stud out the most....49'ers: 81 Ravens: 80 Saints: 78 Lions: 77 ....are you kidding me?! you have the two afc/nfc confrence losses in the niners n ravens with arguably the two best defenses in the league...not right...and saint and lions...two of the high power offenses ranked so low? i just dont get.....thoughts?

I have no problems with this. To me a 99 team rating should only ever go to "Best of All Time" Al Star teams because 99 is as close to perfect as you can get without being perfect. Teams in the 90s should be Pro Bowl teams and some really good teams like the 1994 49ers.

As for the 49ers, they have weaknesses/questions at QB and WR. The Saints had a horrible defense and Vilma might not be on their roster. The Ravens aren't rated that high partly because Flacco is coming off a bad statistical season and also have questions at WR.

Depending on where the team ratings came from (main screen or in CCM) can effect what they actually are. Ratings by position are weighted differently to show starters vs team selection vs franchise etc.

I know the team overalls on play now were blanked out at E3 so they may not be gospel #hype
