    Annoying Experiences

What do you guys do when the player you play against has a really laggy connection and it makes everything super hard? I just played a guy and the lag was so frustrating it was enough to try to play with but defensive and offensive adjustments were really annoying. you start the game and you're already really annoyed then you rush things and he comes out in a onside kick formation and you get more annoyed. he goes for 2 point conversations, every 4th down and your struggling to deal with the lag.

Typically i'll send them a message as soon as i notice the lag at kickoff/first plays of the game with something like "Real laggy on this end, let's start over"

If no reply after a play or two, sorry but I gotta go and quit the game then send a message after saying it was too laggy on my end and leave it at that.

I never worry about my W/L record or DNF in online lobby/play now games. That's just practice to me and the opponents are my lab rats. I'm more of a league player where winning carries a little more to it at the end of a season. You build rivalries with other people, battle for recruits (in NCAA), etc. There's something special about being able to call yourself The Champ.... one of these days I'll be able to say that about myself lol

Im the exact same way.. I practice plays and then run them in H2H games before I ever think about using them in my franchise.

but isn't it more beneficial to be labbing on players that are actually good( more skill points). that's why I don't like quitting games

No, you care about your rank in a video game. Stop it.

It is beneficial to lab with players who are actually good -but there is a line between players who are really good and those who are, for lack of a better word, "cheesers". I recommend looking to add some of the people from this forum to your friends list. Trust me, you'll find plenty of excellent players here who are also willing to help you improve.

well since getting a better rank would include not losing to people repeatedly and playing against better people then sure you could look at it that way.
