    Cant read the defense...

I'm finding a lot of guys can't read defense pre snap because of old habbits. I like the ability to disguise coverage.

Get into the habit (especially in this year's game) of reading MOFO vs. MOFC coverage! Whether it's man or zone, it won't matter if you're running your 2x2 and 3x1 sets from your RNS offense, CC. You'll just set up zone beater to one side and man beater to the other based on the MOFO/C read.

That defensive read concept write up in very nicely and it definitely takes a lot of thinking out of the pre and post snap reads.

Im playing in a dynasty with the sliders turned up and lost my first game with 86 yards passing and 6 picks. Before my second game I decided to apply this concept to reading the d to my playcall. Basically all I did was run flat routes and corner routes against MOFC and four verts and draws against MOFO and had 6 TD's and 300 yards. Going to expand on this more but it was very effecive in establishing a base read of the D. I was even able to diagnose a cover 2 zone MOFC presnap and knew the flat would not be there. Great tip ZAN , thanks

This thread got me to thinking about how I'm going to gameplan around this year's game. I started doing some research and I found a long article discussing how to attack different coverages you'll see. Below is the link. FYI... It's pretty long.

the people that I know who never really relied on compressed formations and motion to tell man/zone have been enjoying the game from what I have heard

And I dont really consider what everyone has been in every other madden game for man/zone reads as a bad habit because for some its all they have ever known. And its all that a lot of the "elite" guys have ever really taught so they just really didnt know any better.

But at the end of the day its not hard to learn how to read coverage. People just need to put in the work themselves and they will eventually come out ahead. No ebook can do the work for them, it can guide them but they still gotta put the work in. After you learn it it never will go away. Little bit of suffering for a gain that will last a lifetime has been my motto for this type of stuff

easiest way to read the defense now ill be coming out in a singleback spread look IMO

gives you the easy run read and the easy blitz read. at the snap of the ball you can read the deep coverage and then from there your good.

this is how i plan on playing the game this year
