I appreciate the ambition of the EA team in creating this. the ability to be a Hall of Famer (player or coach) is great. Also, its about time these leagues had built in social media features. I look forward to a great NGML twitter feed myself.

I just cannot state how much not being able to draft a fantasy team takes away from my own personal online franchise enjoyment. I'm one of those guys that actually sits through a 53 round 32 team draft and looked forward to every A or B potential late round steal. So I guess that's first on my 2014 Madden wishlist, as well as the ability to look-in on games being played in your league. Imagine how tight that would be to see a tweet saying that a game between two of your rivals was starting and it linked you to that game.. That's crazy!!

Look, I'm still going to play if NGML decides to continue, mainly because I totally plan on getting my face on an NFL Sideline as a coach using Gameface. LOL it's probably going to be like so many things technology related where the first version will pale in comparison to down the road. Still looking forward to it.

Tiger Woods had it too. My concern is that we take steps forward with greater ability to make trades and have free agency with online CCM then take a step back by removing the fantasy draft.

Looking forward to giving it a spin. Maybe they should borrow some FIFA programmers to catch up.

it is no doubt a big letdown without fantasy draft but overall the mode is pretty deep and will hopefully deliver for people in that department

Thumbs down CC without draft import I hope it flops big time!!!!

Well I am still butt hurt that imported drafts are out! Oh Wait, was this implemented to keep people from downloading a NCAA draft class and not own the game? If thats the reason behind CC, it's pretty stupid rational. Though I've played on fantasy draft leagues I missed the days when people played their favorite football team or took a supposedly bad team and won SB's with them. That is the only Pro I can give CC it forces players to use current roster teams. As for the cons, import draft class, I will surely miss creating myself or my kids as high school players in NCAA and years later draft them in Madden. Now gone!

And don't get me started on SMUT, um I mean MUT mode.

Oh, I'm about 80% sure I'll buy Madden this year, won't guarantee what will happen next year though.

I am most excited for the future... The tech that they are developing for Madden is something that they can build on and continue to improve on. Also if I read inbetween the lines correctly it should transitition to the next generation of consoles nicely and hopefully we wont have a repeat of Madden 06. I absolutely loved the fantasy draft and will miss it but I am more optimistic about the modes that will be in the game than I am bummed about losing a couple of features temporarily.

On a side note I wonder if people will find a way around not having a fantasy draft.. you could do the draft on the cpu then change the rosters accordingly.. or release and sign.. just curious to see how dedicated people will continue to be to the fantasy draft

Hey, I see what you did there. I guess everyone would have to play as coach and not as a player.

the most exciting thing to happen to career modes in sports games in a very long time. It’s called Connected Careers and it’s going to set the standard for career modes for at least the next decade. Our goal is simple…after you play Connected Careers, you’ll never be able to go back to the same old bland franchise or single player mode that you see in other sports games.

CCM is a deep mode and i think people will be extremely happy with it.

once they get fantasy draft into it - skys the limit

And imported draft classes from NCAA 14+. NCAA 13 took a hit with the reviews and sales.
