I've decided that this year is the year I'm getting back into NCAA and Madden. I still think the ps2 games are better but I just need something new lol. I havn't had a chance to really get into the game yet, been busy with finals, but I'm already regretting it. I can't believe I can't import draft classes anymore

i played madden 12 on ps2 and my god was is the best experiance i have had playing madden since 2007.I've decided that this year is the year I'm getting back into NCAA and Madden. i really did like madden 2012 but wasnt a fan of 09, 10, or 11.

Chomp if you are just looking to upgrade, get last years version. At least its a little competative (don't down load the upgrades), was over at the nephews house playing this year's and it was just pure garbage, almost unplayable. I only play in OD with sliders. This year is a blast because we actually have humans losing to the computer. Hell, both UF and Aub have beaten my LSU squad and now I need help to make the SECCG. It makes the season far more exciting because in years past our only loses would be human vs human games. There are some things broken out of the box, but we try to compensate for that with sliders. Biggest user adjustments we made was turning QB Acc down to 5 (and sliders actually work for human games now). Definitely makes it a challenge.
based on your experiences with madden 13, would you say that for the most part, the problems in ncaa do not reappear in madden.
such as horrible user control,and redicoulous bs like ppl user catching in double and triple coverage.
EA hasn't had any serious competition since 2Ksports in the football area so therefore they are under no pressure to "make a better innovative game" much the way Microsoft isn't going to improve Windows when they don't have any competition in the marketplace to make them improve ! They just rehash their formula and add a number i.e. '11, '12, '13 etc !
Until other game companies commit to making sports games that are good, EA will hold their monopoly ! I love video football games but only having choice every year gets boring !
I agree. Without any competition there is no reason for them to improve, but I hope they prove us wrong with Madden 13.
