It's not just the deep Post in routes but also the deep in routes where the wr slants in then run a deep in route or the comback post out route. With certain pass leads and manual catching some of these routes, it's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooong year.

Is it like 09 where the deep defender would come up and allow the receiver to get behind him from the other side?

The fade route vs cover 2 is deadly and the comeback routes vs any zone are filthy. Slot post routes work well also

Deep post used to be ignored by the coverage on the opposite side, so the receiver could be schemed to get behind the deep defenders on that side very easily against zone coverage.

Exactly! Everyone has the perfect scheme and plan until they get punched in the face.

As far as I can see, it doesn't work like it did in 09 - or, at least, I couldn't recreate 09's defensive reactions to it - so my mind is at ease. The post is a nice option, but doesn't glitch the defense like it did back in 09.
