I was playing a guy online and he was using DAL. I couldn't get any pressure and he was picking me apart. So i dropped back more defenders and he was still able to pick me apart. then i tried man zone combo, no luck. so i started to blitz and he ate me alive with witten. I absolutely could not stop his passing. I shut his run down. no more than 1-2 yards per carry. Any suggestions guys?
TE's are a pain in the ***...
If he is using plays/routes with zone and man beaters at once, it's tough. Gotta try to bait him with your user safety or LB...past that, just try to learn what he is doing consistently and set the play to stop it.
I just played a guy who ran the same **** over and over, just straight TE (Daniels) or WR (Johnson) streaks, and hit them quick. I double teamed, zoned, sat on the route and tried to user, and the ball would just go right through/past me. He onsided me (I called TO and then switched to onside) and he recovered. Then in the 4th quarter, he ran the entire clock down and kicked a FG to win. My fault though for throwing a pick 6 up by 14 in the 2nd late or early 3rd (onside followed that)...didn't know he was going to play like a ***** or I would have just ran it and drained the clock.
Moral of the story? Some guys are just good, some play like *****es...just gotta try to stop it as best as you can.
I played a guy today who also was dallas (I was the eagles), and I could not shut witten down whatsoever. I too torn his run game a new one. Since the new roster update I have been 0-2. Lol. I definitely need help choosing defenses and tackling.

User bump Witten off the LOS with LB & manually man him up yourself (If the TE has his hand down on the LOS he cannot be pressed by your computer players, thus he gets a free release. You must user bump him yourself). Make a play on the ball if your opponent tests you. Easy.
