Question DB's Commiting to the run?

I need help on this one folks. When I take control of a DL and try to block shed with the R Stick(PS3), my DB's (after further review) look like they're committing to the run. Is there another way to block shed? Can I turn "run commit" off of the R-Stick in the settings? My DB's are getting torched because of me! Any Guidance would be greatly appreciated.

You need to wait a little longer before trying the right stick move. IMHO the run/pass commit is glitched and can still be called JUST after the snap.

Is it ever going to be fixed or is it one of those things that is embedded in the code of the game like Skyrim's problem with the arrow draining half your life where it can't be patched?

You are asking the wrong guy, I would hope it is patched. Seems like a good time to practice usering a safety.

Or you could hold the turbo aka right trigger.

I don't think it's necessarily related to Run commit...I have seen my DB's commit to the run many many times, even when I wasn't doing anything with the right stick, and I wasn't in press coverage or anything. It got so bad, that sometimes I have to pass commit everytime, no matter what.

Thanks fellas. I will try delaying the use of the swim move, but that gives the "O" a lttle more time to react. I guess it IS time to practice using the SS or LB's, LOL! Just getting tired of WR's running by my DB's who are running in unison, the same direction I flick the right stick for block shedding moves. Sure hope EA patches that hole up. I thought maybe they put the moves back on the triggers (L1, R1), but nope. DL's just jump in the air while engaged. Back to practice mode....

Oh, and what exactly IS the "run commit" button on the PS3? Is it the right stick also? L3 maybe?

Run Commit is done by holding L2 pre snap, and pushing up for pass commit, and left, right, or down for run commit.

So is there any run/pass commit controls after the snap?
