What is the delayed bump and run?

Like what formation? Is it just bump and run and you back your corners off or where is it? It sounds like it could give some people fits, especially my friends

don't get me wrong. I understand about sharing. This is something that apparently everyone knows how to do, so its more or less making things fair.

    1. You learn from playing other cats....everybody has there own style and you pick up new things here and there..

    2. Lab time...A lot of us spend time in practice mode to learn how to do things or do simple things better...

    3. Imagination...A lot of us watch a lot of real life football and we take ideas from there and bring them to the videogame world..

    4. Time...the more you play/practice the more you will learn....I have probably played close to 300 hours on this years version alone...and I don't even play online this year which a lot of these guys do on this board.

the delayed bump isn't so hard to beat. in fact, i know someone here (hint hint) that knows a little trick to beat it. screws up who the db's are assingned to block. haven't figured it out yet, but i'm working on it.

the best way to beat the bump is to stay away from 2nd and 3rd and long. run the ball. use shot passing plays. when the db's are lined up vertiacally over a WR, the bump won't take place until 5-7 yards down field. use that to your advantage and call quick passing plays. wheel routes seem to work well too. also try motioning your back and sending him on a streak

    delayed

I'd be more than willing to give my detailed account of how I stop the option run against my buddies in our dynasty ( averaged 24 yds rushing per against 6 humans in my conference) for exchange of how to delay bump recievers

..I think I found one last night DJ...haven't fully tested it, but was playing a buddy of mine and he tried the delay on me and I ran this play twice for scores against it, but he isn't very good and getting quick pressure on my QB so I had a little time for it to work...but you are right, there are ways to beat it.....
