One persona per account this year

This sucks. So if you want a persona to play a friend with and a seperate persona for online cheesers you have to go through all that bs to do it. 05 was much easier.

I actually kind of like it. I've only used one name since 04. It pisses me off that people start up a new name just because they got a couple losses. That's why the rankings are all screwed up - losers creating like 12 different names.

I agree for that reason but there are some who just want one profile to keep track vs. a person they play all the time. I think they could give two per account. Last year I think it was 4 or 5 and your right people abused it to get higher rankings.

You still have your other names. You just have to take some time to get to them. At the go online, account select screen, choose create new/use existing account. Follow prompts and select your current account. It will then show your other names and you can choose which you want. Then it takes you right back to the beginning play online screen. Problem is you must do it every time you want to change names.

rock, I tried that last night and the only option I got was one persona. I created a new account to get another one. So now if I need to switch I've got to login with that account. 05 was much easier.

Make 2 different login names and save them to different memory cards, then, depending on how is going online, put their memory card in.

Hello,

I agree with you. However, this is a case where the few mess it up for the many. A few people were creating multiple personas and causing trouble and then logging off and switching persona names.

This year, you may only have on active persona for online play.

How do you create alternate personas under an ea account? I would like a persona for when I play my friend and another for when I play online. I can't seem to figure it out this year.

lol guys u can still use 4 names per account. all u have to do is before u sign on, instead of using the account name that it has switch it to "create or use existing account". then when you sign on, put in ur regular account info. once you do that, you can get into ur normal account and ull have 4 options for names. its the same as 05 you just got to go thru a little more trouble to get to use the other names on your account.

Kapone your right. I went online w/ 05 created another persona. Went back into 06, selected use existing and they were there. So I guess if you didnt have multiple personas in 05 or even have 05 then your stuck with one in 06.
