    Who's using QB Vision?

Just wondering who was using it and what you're feelings were. I am getting used to it and find the more I use it the more I like it. I still have times where I get REAL frustrated with the sacks and weird glitchy feet of stone the QB can get, but I'm still working it.
    Too busy to argue.

I like it a lot. Posts are actually plausible against man coverage, and outs/ins don't get jumped as much as they did in '05 v man coverage...as it should be.

I love it but it is frustrating when a WR is open and I throw it to him but out of nowhere comes a DB and there is an INT right there.

i love it.it seems to help me going through my progressions.you gotta use your pass protection though and stay tight in the pocket.the pass protection actually pretty good this year.the backs pick up the outside blitz alot better to me as long as you hang in the pocket.

I agree. There was no real need for precision passing, lead passing was just fine. EA should have made it where the QB's Awareness rating determines whether the QB will throw high or low to a reciever based on the defensive coverage. Precision passing has too much a dramatic affect on the pass and I throw a lot of high passes because of it, decreasing the chance for YAC since it's tough to hit a reciever in stride. I guess I need to start letting go of the D-Pad right before I pass.

I'm using it because it's a challenge and it's the big part of the game, but I'm with NIKpapagiorgio -- I don't like it that much. I've gotten pretty good with it, but that's not really the point for me -- it's "is this feature enjoyable?" The QB feet-freeze bug (yes, I insist it's a bug, not a feature) is really, really annoying, and trying to lock on and pass to R1 (for us PS2 players) is tough. I also don't like how you can't seem to lead people upfield anymore (hitting "up" just throws the ball high), but throwing the ball high is cool in other situations. It's sort of interesting, but I see it more as a curiosity than a real game improvement -- kinda like the first-person mode that old N64 game had. New, innovative, revolutionary, not that fun, and not repeated.

My offline Fantasy Draft league I play with my friends is currently debating whether or not to use it. As of now, I'm voting for it -- it is the big new thing -- but I wouldn't be too upset if my side lost.

I've gotten used to it. Being J.P Losman sucks though because I tend to worry more about the crappy Offensive Lineman more than I do my reads. That line is just that bad

The effect of Vision and Precision of Madden 06 on Timothy Norwayne Turner has dropped my enjoyment of playing to the point that I've gone 2 days in a row without playing a single game (online, offline, practice, or otherwise) within 7 days of the release for the first time since 1996.

As an EXCLUSIVELY online player, it took Madden 06 and Vision and Precision passing to change my gaming habits. I don't like it, but I have been forced to get used to it. For the first time in several years, I've had to use practice mode. I've spent more time in practice on '06 already than I have in Madden 03, 04, and 05 combined.

It looks like Madden, says Madden on the box, but it doesn't feel like Madden. I tested other games like Gameday 97 and 98, but the feel of Madden is what always brought me back to EA and ultimately solidified me as a loyal customer...

EA has changed my mindset with Madden 06. With the control changes and the move of the MC to the X-Box, I feel abandoned as a PS2 user and a Madden loyalist.

The Madden faithful would rather the graphics go back to pixel players, than change the feel of the game. Madden 98, should have taught EA that lesson.

    sob... sob...
