what about the 'commit to run' feature? by holdin l2 than hittin r3 down you'll hav ur d go right after the ball carrier.

If i were to guess I would be willing to bet this guy is getting killed by a twins run when using man lock coverage. More games online is the only cure for this problem.

I would suggest taking a good look at the players you have on the def side of the ball.. Then pick a playbook that fits your team. Every try using a zone def with the playmaker run stopper?

try not sending the entire house to stop him. Martin is bound to break tackles, i don't know the number but i'd bet his BRK rating is mid to high 90's which means the first person who hits him will likely be shed aside. Once he does that, it sounds like you have no one else to back up the initial hit.

Go back to basics, run some 4-3 Cover 2 and 3 out of the Under and the Over sets and control the OLB on the side you think he is going to. then start making adjustments from there.

Try to make the tackle manually or at least chase him down so you take him out of his running lanes and get help from the rest of your defense.

    that's my 2 cents... lol

Jamal is definately a nightmare. I got a taste of him today. I'd have guys in place but he just bowls them over. I won the game 14-7, but man Lewis defied my defenders. Even the guy I controlled got bowled over. We'll fix that. Although I was using the Lions. I like them in this game.

It's casue the Jets are the coolest team in the world, and Curtis is a beast

Ok, but, Curtis isn't fast. He's got 89 speed, but he is a beast.

Try 4-3 normal, spread O-line and crash out, pinch LBs.

Also control the safety or a LB, you MUST have good stick on D to stop the run. If you don't he's just running against the CPU, minus the retarded defender your running circles with, which is gonna be a cakewalk.

As far as your troubles w/ the Jets safeties... I don't know, they're strong safety is not that good, so I'd hate to see you deal w/ the Ravens for example

I thinkyou just need to practice some more

Have you ever came to the conclusion that you just suck & need practice?

i just read this whole thread and ive come to the conclusion that this guy thinks hes doin everything right but cant stop it... listen to peoples suggestions instead of saying.. oh i tried that and this happened... try it again and manually control a safety to run around the corner and keep him from breaking it outside
