Thumbs down Why didnt EA change ranked games back to 5 min?

Is there a reason why they didnt change it back?

I could undertand it if Ncaa 2006 was this way but heck it has 5 min ranked games online, why not Madden?Funny thing is Ncaa has a shorter play clock meaning you cant run clock like you can on Madden 2006..If anything Ncaa should be 4 min and Madden 5 minutes

I never seen one person on any message board saying change it to 4 min games..But last year I seen a TON saying change it back to 5 min and they ignore us?

ya 4 min is good. 5min is just to long. I wanna play at least 3 games a night, and if it was 5mins, then I could prolly only get 2 in.

    Unhappy

I usually get one game in... but get disconnected by halftime and get the loss... the rest of the night is my crying with a bottle of Jack and a Disney movie.

Why dont they give us the option to make 4,5 or 6 minutes ranked like in Madden 2003..Dont do the 1,2,3 minutes so guys can play 40 games a day though.Just a thought.

It wouldn't be fair to the whole ranking thing... like it really matters

5 minute quarters is alot better than 4 if you ask me, i prefer 6 personally.

the key is playing against guys you know who are str8 ballers though.

i wish we had an option too.

Last year when they changed it to 4 min. I didn't like it at all at first... but after I started playing on 4 min quarters I liked it much better. I agree with most people... 5 minutes is just too long.
