    ALL-Madden, Anyone??

Little background... I am no chise addict, but I have always enjoyed franchise mode. I spend most of my madden time playing on online and use my franchise to lab, try new plays and that sort of thing. most of the time I force my self to really practice the whole game by doing things like only running 1 formation all game, no running all game, no passing all game, etc.
I am an average to above average online player and in 05 I could pretty much count on a 15-1 sb winning season on all-madden when I worked on my chise.
So in 06 I started a Bills franchise right off the bat on all-pro with the default sliders. I rebuilt the left side of the o-line and pretty much left the rest of the team as is. I dominated on def, while remaining compotent on off. through 7 games games ave points against was 7 and points for was 23. So the 7-0 Bills decided they needed a challenge to step up their game. I increased difficulty level to All-Madden. No biggie, I play ALL-MADDEN online quite often and win more then lose. Well, after NE and KC, Buffalo has fallen to 7-2 while being outscored 79-13 over these 2 games. MacGahee was averaging 90+ rushing yards a game in the first 7 but over the next 2 combined he put up 40 yards on 30 some carries. Lossman was adequate prior to the switch with 60% completeions, 9 TD's and 6 int's . Over the last 2 games he has thrown under 30%, 6 Int's and 0 TDs. The def that was allowing around 7 points a game was lucky to hold KC to 49! The tank-like monster, Dante Hall truck sticked 3 guys on his way to 101 KR TD. Considering that you can just imagine what the preist was doing....
The game is just not realistic on the all-madden level. As if Hall bowling over back-up LB's another quick example; I watched the replays of my INT's and most were just silly. One play I threw a quick post to the left TE in single back big, the def was in a 4-3, mlb was blitzing, lolb in hook zone and rolb in a flat zone, I throw a hard pass and led the TE whom had inside position on the olb while the safety was no where in sight, the perfect read and throw right? WRONG, the LOLB covered 5 yards in a nano second, magically traveled through the te and picked the ball. I dont mind a challenge, but this is just SO unrealistic, I can't see it as fun.

Is anyone running an ALL-MADDEN franchise? If so, how do you complete? Do you reconmend I stick it out till I start winning?
What sliders would you reconmend pumping up if I would like more of a challenge on ALL-PRO?

I'm running an All Madden franchise. This is my 1st Madden franchise ever. In my preseason games I got my arse handed to me repeatedly but in Game 1 I took on the Ravens (I was the Colts of course) and I won 36-17. Jamal Lewis did break two spectacular 40+ yard 5 break tackles per runs for pay dirt but it didn't phase me. I didn't throw any picks and had a 136 passer rating. It was my best game ever against All Madden though. I just ran the ball a lot and attacked the flats and the 1-on-1 coverages.

I'll have to see if the other games get harder or cheesier but so far it was good game for me. Obviously on All Madden the key is TO. But I also noticed that the computer will pick you apart passing w/ any QB. I mean Rex Grossman had a Peyton Manning game on me in the preseason.

I play on all madden mode it is fun to me. Even though on defence for the cpu is umrealistic. After playing a few days you will know what not to throw. One thing use the throw ball away button you need it often.

If you decide to keep it on All-Pro I would suggest adjusting the sliders. Now I have not messed with sliders this year, yet. In all previous maddens (01-present) I would bump the run ability and blocking to almost max. This year I am going to bump up QB awarness (sp) up a few notches. Everything else I will keep the same

Yeah, I'm playing my Eagles franchise on all-madden. There is one thing that I've come across that truly changes everything during a game, turnovers. The momemtum swing the cpu gets if you turn the ball over is amazing. I like to play how the Eagles play in real life which is pass alot. This gets me into ALOT of trouble. If I try and squeeze one in and it gets picked, I might as well write the game off because they'll put up 14 on me in no time. It's frustrating but at the same time, challenging. Something that '05 was not. I started a cupcake franchise on all-pro and there is a significant difference in those two levels. I may have to adjust the sliders to keep it competitive.

I play ALL-PRO with the sliders maxxxxed and i find it more fun and realistic,at least at the momment. I can go 16-0 and super bowl winner at these settings on 05 and lost intrest. 06 is great with line looping taken out and the passing adjusted. I can't zing a pass into a little space or on an out to have it be automatic anymore. Try it. I can't practice my stick skills enough to be competitive in ALL MADDEN. I hope this will help me , and you

After two seasons on All-Pro (both undefeated), I moved to All-Madden and haven't lost throught 10 games (plus four pre-season games). I survive on running and defense -- I use a fantasy drafted team so that was how I built the team. If I'm forced to pass then I'm in trouble.

To me, the key was to build up my team for two years before trying All-Madden. My O-linemen are all high strength, good speed and 90+/90+ RBK/PBK. Tomilnson is my HB and my backup is a MGD with 98 speed and high 80's BTK.

I am not that good hitting button sequences so I do a pre-snap read, select my primary receiver and hope he gets open. I am in trouble if he doesn't get open.

My advice to you is to ride your horse -- run the ball and use play action to get open receivers. I usually only complete ~ 10 passes/game (out of 20 or so passes thrown, usually at or below 50% completion rate).

One other odd thing -- my offense has given up more points than my defense. Not only am I turnover prone when passing, they get returned for TD's relatively frequently. I also seem to give up more special teams TDs than I get. Good thing that Tomlinson is difficult to stop, doesn't get hurt and doesn't fumble more than a couple times a year.

    Cool

ive always played on all-madden since 00 and pretty much dominate the cpu because when i first get the game i go straight to practice mode on all-madden and just get used to the gameplay. then once im settled on the gameplay find a playbook and learn to work some of the plays out of it and then i play a couple of exhibition games against the cpu to get used to the in-game situations. from there i jump into the franchise on all-madden and pretty much start beating up the cpu. i start to get better as the weeks progress. basically to play on all-madden u have to get used to the gameplay on that level to really be succesful at it. i have 2 strategies- one for the cpu and another for online and human play because they both are very different.

When I started my chise I played it on all madden and started gettn killed, but as the days webt by i started to adjust to that level and started winning well kinda winning. It just isnt very realistic the cpu pulls some crazy sh! t out their as$, like diving and stoping a big break from 7 yards away. and also the picks, oooh dont get me started on the pics, im talking about the passes being bobbled then no matter what the d gets it, or passes that go straight to the defender even though i have an accurate qb. oh well I have gotten a lot better now, its just all about getting adjusted to that level of play, keep at it.

I totally agree with all of you guys. I dominate on All-Pro and it gets boring...but All-Madden cheats too much. On All Madden, I can put up points on offense, and I can play defense too. All Madden is challenging, but sometimes the CPU jsut comes up with some crazy turnovers or long 15 play drives. Even with a default roster(Giants) I can put up, ATLEAST, 2 more TD's than the CPU before the half...but then after that, I don't know what to do cuzthe CPU goes nuts.

When yer up by two TD's you OBVIOUSLY can't play aggressive on 2006 Madden, cuz CPU will rape you with some amazing INT's, pass deflections or Forced fumbles.

    So, I've tried playing conservative.

When I play conservative, I STILL turn the ball over. I've tried playing conservative by eating up the clock(usualy call my plays between 10-20 sec left on the play clock), mostly running plays(but mixing it in with a few short passing plays), and SOMETIMES--just to mix it up--I throw the ball to WR on a streak(not to complete the pass but to PURPOSELY over throw it to keep the CPU guessing)

I know the Giants playbook INSIDE OUT...and I've mastered alot of them. But STILL I turn the ball over to these CPU ninjas. It jsut pisses me off cuz my defense usually gives up atleast 2-3 TD's per game against the CPU (and all of em were prally cheated TD's).

Sometimes I just put on ESPN NFL 2k5 and reminisce. Sure, I can change the sliders, but god damn...this effin blows donkey balls.

I haven't played madden in 5 days. Not because of CPU ninjas; I just get sick of it. I'm playing EA baseball game, CPU can't hit my pitching. I just can't hit. (that's another thing!)

i agree - i win 70-0 on all-pro but all-madden is rediculus, i'm going to try to get used to it, just for the challenge but ea needs to get better with the difficulty levels, i'm gonna start messing with sliders if i can't win on all-madden, anyone got good all-pro sliders?

It's better to stay on All Pro and adjust the sliders to make the play more realistic. All Madden has too much bizzare stuff to make play realistic or fun.

    Talking

The one thing you have to adjust on All-Madden is the fumbles and Int slider. If not there will be 5-10 every game. (Both teams)

I decided to play the SuperBowl with my Cowboys against Colts on All Madden(played my league on all pro with Comp. pass blocking, rushing and QB awareness maxed)

I was up 21 - 7 at halftime with 3 picks off Manning.

I then fumbled the 2nd half opening kickoff. 21-14. Julius Jones fumbles first play from scrimage. 21-17. Keyshawn fumbles 2nd play from scrimmage...returned for TD 21-24.

I finally get a 3 and out. First play Manning throws a pick 6 And1 to Terrance Newman. 28-24. I quit...I felt like I was playing NFL BLitz.

That was the 9th turnover only midway through the 3rd Qtr
