    ? for Franchise Gurus

Although I wasn't too keen on the idea of doing a fantasy draft, my friends talked me into this little franchise league they got goin. We are going to do our draft, then simulate the season (possibly the next season also) so the young players progress. My questions are 1. What approach would you take to build a great fantasy team? I'm thinkin of going with 2 great TE's but I've noticed even the best TE's don't go untill the 3rd round so maybe a different approach would be better. 2. With an emphasis on young players that will progress a large amount in the next 2 seasons, what players do you recomend getting as late rounders? One player that comes to mind is Matt Jones from the Jags... I like trowin to that guy . Originaly I was going to try to build a power run team, but as I get better at passing I think I may want to go with a passing team (both would be better!!!). This could get interesting because I think some guys will stack their D, and some will stack their O.

    Your advice is much appretiated

younger the better, since u simi the season u have to get a half decent O-line and QB so that everyone on the offense developes. Don't go for stars, even in the 1st round..which sounds weird. Look for low 90 players that are 25 or younger. Those are the cash crops. Low awareness on offense leaves easy room for development, esspecially for O-linemen. a 85 overall 25 year old OT w/ 65 awareness is much better than a 89 over 25 year old OT w/ 94 awareness.

1st round pick LT (not the position) if you can. Then go for a defense. Pick low-ish awareness. Also pick lots of rookies. Speed kills so go for fast LB and DB Dline go for solid players with low awareness. The O-line make sure everyone is a young guy and is at least 80 overall. Then for a QB I'd go for Philip Rivers or Aaron Rodgers. Also get some SS or FS once they start going. Also go for a all around TE like Witten. In Madden he is a beast.
