Me and this guy were trying to play each other online yesterday and we tried multiple times to connect, but had no success. When we both picked our teams and tried to play it would just say connecting... but the check mark never showed up. I was thinking maybe it was a problem with his or my connection. I use a wireless router to play and he uses direct connection between his modem and PS2. Both of us have DSL. Does anybody know the reason we can't connect?

here's what i was trying to tell you online:
heavy and i have the same problem. i'm connected directly and i think he is also, but for some reason, whenever he challenges me, we get the same results you got. however, when i challenge him, we can play. i'm not sure what causes this though. try challenging him or him challenging you. don't konw what it works like that, but oh well. maybe someone here can help
