    What is "looping" lineman and what does it do?

    Ive heard this term mentioned alot in Madden forums but yet I dont know what it means.Could someone explain what it is and its uses?I really appreciate it if someone would.Peace and God Bless

    its when u spread ur d line and playmaker them to blitz around the o line, pretty much attatcking the qb from the outside. its not really that effective this year as it was last year.

    actually it works better for the pass rush.. puts your D-Line 1-1 with the O-line..

    If you have a really good DE you like to manually control it keeps the double team away.

    If you did it to me when im running a HB Dive from the Singleback you wouldnt touch my RB until he was 10 yards down field.

    agreed its not really good for runs except maybe counters and slams.

    It might help against the outside run... but whenever I see someone spread the line I'll aud to a dive play and it's an easy 5 yard gain.
