Hawker's Express: A Cupcake AM 'Chise (on the PC!)

    Using Team Swapper for madden....

I created a cupcake franchise All Madden, on the PC version of madden.

    They are based in Montreal.

I will post players stats soon, and may even make a website for them.

I plan to only draft new players to improve this squad, or new Madden generated
undrafted rookies in Free Agency. I will not trade for or pick up any pre-existing players. (People like TO are free agents.)

I picked the train since I like dark blue.. I used Invensco Field as a prebuilt template for my team, and it came with broncos banners!

I am not too happy with this squad, but they are a cupcake team.....

My 10 best players, if you can call them that. I think I am going to sim the whole season so I can at least have a rookie or two to work with. I played the first week and its almost unbearable to get a 1st down, and the PC ran back 3 Kickoffs.

    {* indicates porn star name}

    1. Jabari Nax TE 79 OVR (great my TE is my best guy...with the strangest name)
    2. Casey Littman QB 76 OVR (probably my best player, has 72 spd, 87 THP, only 26, I have some time to pick a QB if needed at least)
    3. *Lennox Stone LT 76 OVR (It's nice to have my next best players be the LT, but he had crappy long term appeal, only 85 STR, 45 SPD)
    4. Jimmy Chapman RE 74 OVR (he's a rook, looks like Justin Tuck of NYGiants)
    5. Lonnie Martin RG 70 OVR (again, crap stats, but hes only 25)
    6. Johnny Casey LG 70 OVR (another rook, but he has a red Flat-top, probably his best attribute. horrrible stats)
    7. Chuck Williams LG 68 OVR (wow, another rook, o-line. 79 STR?)
    8. *Ron Burns CB 67 OVR (This is getting very bad, very quickly, 5'9" 80 spd)
    9. Tiki Spielman DT 66 OVR (wow he sucks... 84 STR is his BEST stat.)
    10. Lionel Turner WR 66 OVR (he's 5'9" 207 {fat?} he's the best....around, 86 SPD, 86 ACC, 86 AGI, also is KR/PR)

AGAIN, I state that these are my BEST 10 guys.

my starting RT is 53 OVR, my starting HB is 60 OVR....

    WOW.

The team went 0-16. I set coach options to be pass heavy, since I like the QB..

at least Jimmy Chapman, the rookie DE, was 4th best NFL rookie defenseman...

Please forgive my stupidity, but what the heck is a "cupcake" franchise? What does that mean? Is it just that they are crummy players?

When you "Create-a-Team" there is a selection "team type"

you pick from some team archetypes You get a team full of created players with a certain theme.

    I believe the choices are

    All Madden - obvious
    Strong Off - obvious
    Strong Def - obvious
air it out - a passing team
smash mouth - a run heavy team
    balance - obvious
cupcake - really low OVR players...the opposite of All Madden, not necc all rookies either.

I love these kinda teams...they're fun to build.

Brooks looks like a steal to me in the 7th, heh. And Styles is going to be a beast.

ok so we went 4-12 this season, better than I expected, and I only played 4 games, lost 3 of them.

WR Styles is fun to throw to, he is kind of like braylon edwards, he really goes up and gets the ball. he was o. rookie of the year. 1730 yards, 12 tds

    j. Nax, the TE seems to get open alot but also drops it alot.
Littman, the QB is not too bad since he can scramble, but he is a INT machine.
the HB flewelling is surprisingly good, remind me of rueben droughns. The LB squad performs very well, and all 4 were D rookies of the year. Linde the DT does very well as well, I think because of his speed. The RE/LE havent done as well, chapman couldnt replicate his 1st year.

    Heres the current lineup

Well I have 4 chises going on at once.

    1- VG member chise

    2- Cupcake chise

3- Miami Air-it out chise I may post on that later.

    4- Toronto Strong D/smashmouth chise.

There is alot to do, and I am always trying to hlep other get there sites up.

I love STR for any position in madden. O-line guys I look only for STR, and size. They will get AWR/PBK/RBK very quickly if you start them and run it.

I will post some more updates on the cupcake soon.
This new season is going very well, perhaps too well. Just 2 years of draft picks has totally turned this team around. Its not as much of a challenge, and I think I can go 8-8. Just throwing it to Styles half the time is working out since he is 90 OVR now and is such a force.
