Knocking QB out of the game

I've come to accept that most of the guys I play against are going to attempt to blitz me into oblivion, thus I've become very adept at burning this cliche and obvious form of scheming, or lack thereof.

Blitzing: Noun - The universal solution to all defensive problems for on-line play.

Now if it's working, that's one thing, but I've been playing some guys recently that just continue to blitz even when they're getting killed. They blitz, I burn them, over and over. For awhile I thought that maybe they're so pathetic that they just don't know what else to do, but then it hit me...

THEY'RE TRYING TO KNOCK MY QB OUT OF THE GAME.

Why else would they keep doing it if it's not working? Obviously, they've realized how easy it is, and are trying to take advantage of this. I don't know about you guys, but that's just dirty. Legal, but dirty.

I have simple solution for you: Run the ball !!

If they keep on stacking the line, then just pick quick hitter plays. I can throw slants all day if he doesn't adjust to what i do with my O.

zone + blitz = spread the filed and quick hit vacant areas behind the blitzers

Man + Blitz = max protect and slants, fades or crossing routes

also, blitzing is not some lack of scheme... running engage 8 all game is probably for bums, but there are a ton of people out there with some excellent blitzing packages and looks.

why blitz? not to knock the qb out of the game, but to disrupt timing, create negative plays, and force turnovers

Why not blitz every down to put the QB out? Since you can't sub any player at any position like in the NFL blitzing to put all 3 QB's out leaves only kickers and punters available. Try running an offense with a Punter as the QB... LMAO.

SUBSTITUTION in the NFL is UNLIMITED. Madden 2004 is the last game that held to NFL rules (that's partly why it's the best).

Delhomme is my fastest QB. If the defense brings consistent and heavy pressure, there's no way Rodney Peete or Chris Weinke would be able to get away. Back on Madden 2004, Madden recognized all the rules of the NFL you could sub any player at any position. I used Rod Smart as my backup QB. I designed an offense especially for him featuring short throws.

But since no one can sub fast players from thier team at the QB, blitzing to get a punter in the game is only SMART STRATEGY.

I once played the Falcons and knocked Vick out for the game. 3 plays later, I knocked Schaub out for the game. Then all he had left was Detmer.

Anyone know any good techniques for knocking the QB out of the game? Hitsticks? Or diving at them and trying to injure their legs?

Smart play calling. Yes Madden 04 is the best of them all. When i started playing Madden years ago and started beating the guy who taught me. He started knocked my qb out of the game and i would lose the game. Once I picked teams like Tenn or other teams that had a good 2nd string qb, he started doing that. Look at the Mosley vs. Vargas fight. Vargas had more power that Mosley and could have hurt him but his eye was too messed up to finish the fight. Same rules apply in Madden, for some who know a player is better than them when the qb is knocked out, the game changes.

There is nothing wrong with that. Me preferably would like to beat someone through strategy and outhinking them.

the stick works fine but i only do it with big name lbs(urlacher, lewis, etc)
i said to a guy once peyton manning is gonna get hurt this play. i come in with urlacher hitstick manning and manning was out of the game. i don't think cheap shots are dirty. people get paid to play football. but if the "dirty hit" is a late hit or something like in million dollar baby then that is a completely different story.

and if you have a weak defensive team, you may elect to blitz more than "normal" to help keep the defenders close to the WRs
I knew Pacquio was getting knocked out when they showed Romney in his dressing room wishing him luck.
