    I reiterate

All-Madden is impossible to pass against...And your defense can't tackle...what a joke..its not about not practicing either...just ridiculous really..no game is ever like that where EVERY play is getting jumped by their DB's...and its not like i'm doing the same plays either..this is retarded..there at least was some gradual difficulty between earlier levels..All-Madden is ridiculous

uhm.. if ur having that much difficulty with mentally incapacitated DBs turn up the Human defensive awareness if you think that'll give u a more realistic game. Otherwise my best advice is to play smart and use press coverage if you actually have a deep safety covering for you.

my main problem is my passing game...my defense is doing alright...but the only passes I can do on a regular basis are hook routes....thats it...My running game rocks, but even Play Action doesn't work...I always get blitzed on PA and can't even get my passing window up.

Who are you playing as firstly? If you've got a decent QB and a good 1st string WR then nail him on a slant immediately after the snap on PA. And also remember to lock your vision cone on him presnap. Use motion and pump fakes. Also, mostly everyone I've ever "known" plays around with the sliders on All-Madden. I seem to remember something about Homerun's all-madden sliders on Google, anyone else?

I'm actually playing 2005...and I'm numerous years into my franchise..have a 3rd year QB who has a ranking of 92...still have 4 WR over 82...The defense just swarms everywhere..you know you have a guy wide open 30 yards down the field but somehow that LB only 10 yards can jump and knock it away..that bull$$$$

Turn down the AI interceptions and knockdown to 5 and put the awareness up a few clicks, it will translate into a more realistic defense. Also, use the high pass or pass to the outside of the defender. And sometimes you are going to get frustrated, but you're also going to get beat, the '72 Dolphins we aren't. Try having your franchise QB go down for the season in the first quarter of the first regular season game (but with 3 TD's and almost 200 yards already, crappy Lions lol) and having to ride the season with a raw rookie QB and an under performing HB and WR corps, that will make you pull at your hair.

    This is hilarious.

This reminds me of when I'll roll over to my brother's house, and he'll be sitting there shrieking and cursing the game out because he's stupid enough to throw the ball downfield every other play, or launch into triple coverage and expect the CPU not to get there in time.

Dude. You need to adjust your sliders. You need to knock the CPU Defense way down, until you figure out how to stop throwing the ball into crowds or to click on your receiver and make plays on the ball.

I have news for you, man. Rarely is anybody open for 30 yards downfield on All Madden. Chances are, regarding your long throws downfield, you're waiting too long to throw the ball -- no this game isn't techmo bowl, you can't launch 70 yards on the regular with a 99 arm QB, let alone a 88 arm QB. This is the biggest issue that people have with throwing downfield and having it intercepted every other time. They think Tim Rattay can air the ball out 60 yards on the run or something, and it's almost always underthrown. Those LBs aren't teleporting downfield to the ball -- your QB is not getting the ball far enough, and your WR is slowing DOWN so as not to over run it.

82 OVR at Wide Receiver is downright pathetic. If you're going to throw the ball downfield, you need Wide Receivers that have awareness to they'll go and get the ball BEFORE those DB's make a play. Otherwise, you DO NOT throw the ball to them unless they've got their man beat off the line.

You're not even actually listening to what we're attempting to tell you. So let me just drop it like this.

    I reiterate:

    1) Turn your sliders down like a normal gamer and work your way up to actually playing against a competitive Defense.

    2) Quit b*tching and moaning like a stubborn 8 year old that can't get her/his way. Screaming and pouting and posting threads regarding how you can't play on All Madden because you don't know what you're doing isn't going to help any, especially when you ignore what we're trying to teach you and continue to post this crybaby junk.

    3) Stop cluttering up the board with this nonsense, before a mod comes through and wipes you off this mess for posting idiocy repeatedly.

Please, man. Honestly, if I were there I'd take the controller out of your hands and show you how it's done.

Where do you live? I'm off tomorrow. Maybe I will, for the sake of stopping this whiny nonsense from reappearing.

Check out my thread from a few months ago. Anything sound familiar?

    MLB Hating All-Madden

Now check out this one, this was my first season of All-Madden. Again, just like you I was freaking out and pissed off. I threatened to go back to all pro a couple of times I think. lol!

    MLB's First AM Season

Dude, you CAN get good at All-Madden, you just have to adjust your playing style and work at it. Check my Steelers chise and see the numbers I put up now.

If you dont want to play on AM there is nothing wrong with that. There are things about All-Pro that I still like better than AM. But if you want to stick it out you have to adjust a little.

When things get hard, just imagine Rob Schneider cheering you on. "You can dooo it!!!"

my fourth wide receiver is 82..so I think my wide receiver core is pretty good. My top two wide outs are 93 and 91...and I don't bomb it every play...I only do that like 2 or 3 times a game...but nothing deep is ever open. I find it unrealistic that only the hook routes are open, yet the other team bombs is into double coverage and somehow catches and breaks both tackles..its like that team is playing me at Rookie level.

You know, you've pretty well mapped out your weaknesses as a player. Now it's time to adapt -- either drop down to All-Pro, modify your sliders in All-Madden and/or modify your style of play. You won't get any better by complaining about how unfair All-Madden is.

Practice -- find plays that you can count on and keep adding plays that you are confident in.

Adapt -- if something isn't working, try something else. Don't give up on the pass, just be less predictable. Pass in running situations. Pass out of running formations. Use play action, especially if you are having success running the ball.

Analyze -- why are you having problems? Is it against zone defense? Man to man? Pressure/blitzing? Are you waiting too long to throw? Throwing too soon? Not reading the defense?

You can get some ideas here but you are going to have to figure it out yourself ultimately. Complaining isn't going to fix anything.

    Good luck!

All-Pro was not challenging at all...just not a smooth transition at all to All-Madden..and I'm winning in All-Madden..just hate seeing my QB with 500 yards, 1 TD and 6 INTs over 4 games.

I'm working on it..just seems a little far fetched.

If All-Pro wasn't challenging, then turn the CPU sliders up a whole lot and turn your sliders down. Or you can just turn down CPU defense.

When I played All-Madden at first it wasn't this bad (2 years ago). Maybe you should try Precision Passing. If that doesn't work, let your QB become what Ben Roethlisberger used to be. Run the ball almost all game long because your running game doesn't seem that bad.

Nah, All-Madden is easy when you get used to it. I was fooling around with the deep ball, and it's pretty easy to get it to Moss, Harrison, or Shockey. Use bullet passes instead of lobs. Just don't constantly be doing it because the defense will pick you off. If you're in more of a west coast offense throw it to the TE or the flats or use curl roots, having a FB who can catch decently will help as the defense will rarely cover him. Run a lot too to keep the defense from thinking you'll pass. Play action works well. Keep trying.

    TheAnalogKid I love your signature....

"If Chuck Norris were a player in Madden all his attributes would be 100." LOL

If Chuck Norris was to be flaged by a ref he will round house kick him so hard that he'll think before throwing a flag in Chuck Norris direction!

I don't know what else to say except if you REALLY want to play on all-madden you have to get your skills up a little. Deep routes ARE open, but like the real NFL you dont' just send a guy running down the field and lob it to him like you can on All-Pro. You have to get the right situation, the right defense, the right playcalling. Use playaction, use pump fakes, create mismatches with motion and odd sets. You are smarter than the CPU, remember that, which is why it has to "cheat" a little.

Speed is nice, but you can get 88 SPD WRs open deep too if you work at your game. Listen, I have a 6'4 WR with 99 SPD, 96 ACC and 91 JMP. Even with him you cant just wing it downfield and expect him to outrace even slow DBs. I used to think this was unrealistic too, but when you think about it it's not. In the NFL, safetys and CBs are very smart. Even the dumb ones are smart. They aren't going to let a WR blow by them like that, and if a CB does it's because he has safety help over the top.

So, I go back to what I said the first time I replied to you. Why don't you post some specific quetions on your game and the problems you are having and maybe we can help you a little better?
