    The Stall Glitch

Ok well I play this ******* tonight whose been talking **** all day. He starts off motion glitching so he can get like hb direct out of goalline and hail mary out of i form etc. He scores on his first drive by doing this ****. I score to tie it 7-7. On the next drive i just audible to special teams so he cannot screw up my Defensive ai. I strip him at my 20 yard line and end up taking the lead. This ******* starts running hb direct every play. I continue going deep on every single down and mossing his *** and lead 24-19 at half. He start complining that jumping to catch the ball is a glitch. I don't even respond to him as all he was doing is motion glitching to screw up my defensive ai and running hb direct every down. At the start of the second half he stall glitches. It is currently stuck on the kickoff screen and has been for the last half hour.

Funny thing about this whole story is at the start of the game he was saying how he was so good and how i suck and how i am going to end up glitching him. How ironic.

Anyway does anyone no a counter to the stall glitch? I don't believe there is one, but I could be wrong.

    There's only one counter.

    Wait it out.

It's call "Stall" glitching for a reason.

You're only hope is that he loses power and you're able to continue the game. Other than that, it's a waiting game.

Its a different kind of stall glitch. He picked his play, but now he won't kickoff. I can't call timeout or pause the game, but I am sure it did not freeze because I am still able to switch onto all my players on the kickoff.

The guys name is injureurman or injureyaman. Something like that he has 200 wins and a 170 losses so this is pretty puzzling to me.

Pause it. Then continue to hold the start button down as you hit the triangle(to start it back into a game ) with another fingure.

    works like a charm

hold start untill clock runs out and game starts back

then hell prolly use a new T.O. glitch tho and youll be screwed anyhow, lol

I woke up this morning and its still stall glitching. I can't pause or call a T.O. born. And i may have found a counter to the kikoff glitch.

The counter to the Kick Off glitch is very simple.

The first time they do it, don't touch anything, let the cpu pull you back into the game.

The second time he does it, call a time out and select which group to coach.

If he does it again, call another time out and select which group to coach.

In both cases where you call a time out after he does, make sure you're the first one to select which group to coach.

Following this pattern will cause your opponent to run out of time outs first.

The tactic of letting the cpu pick for you when they call a time out during the P.A.T. or K.O. will work the first time, maybe the second if you're lucky.

    Hope this helps.

No I may have found a counter that gets them booted and gives them a loss. i need to lab it a bit to be sure, but i have succesfully booted the last two people who have tried.

On another note, the glitch injureyaman did is a different kind of stall glitch. You cannot call a timeout or pause. You are basically helpless. I got home this afternoon and we both got a disconnect loss. He sent me a message saying "hey a dnf and a loss oh so sweet. Thats what i do to cheaters cause no one on this game is really undefeated.I told u not to cheat me and u did." He says I was cheating because i was jumping when i user caught the ball. Keep in mind all this *** did from the outset was motion glitch and hb direct every play once i stopped him from motion glitching. And the undefeated record he is talking about is a name that was 9-0. No way anyone can win nine straight games playing fairly (sarcasm).

This is the kind of crap that makes you wanna go through all the headaches of IP tracing someone when you play them, so when they pull crap like this you can take a ride to their house and beat the crap outta them. Then walk away laughing as they lay on the ground hurt, broken, and bleeding; wondering what the hell just happened and what they did to deserve this.

I absolutely loathe people like that, it's okay to motion glitch every pass play and run HB direct every run play, but when I stop you and show you that I can manually do things such as "User Catch", I'm the one that's cheating. It's okay for them to do it, but when you do it to them (and for a lot of ballers on here, do it better than them), they all of a sudden have a problem with that.

Sometimes I actually wish EA would make two versions of the same game, one for the arcade lovers who look to use "glitches" as a part of their game stradegy, and one for the hard core player who is looking for a chess match type of game where good play calling is rewarded over throwing deep into double/triple/quadruple coverage and coming down with the ball every 1 out of 4 times.

Put the games on seperate servers and let the glitchers play amongst themselves and the true gamers can play with like minded people.

It would be cool if they had two levels of online play. A free version, where you don't have any record or ranking or anything, and a version where you pay a few bucks a month and EA keeps track of your W-L record, rank, etc. like they do now. That way all the cheesers could pay to battle it out for some meaningless ranking, while all of us true gamers could play amongst ourselves for free.

Until you eliminate the ranking system, you'll never get rid of the cheesers.
