Here's the answer to stopping scrambling QBs.....

    A patch.

The play testers did a horrible job on the programming of defending scrambling QBs. If you try to contain them, then will be too many holes in the D-FENSE.

Also, in that patch, is enabling and forcing the QB vision cone.

If this does not happen, within the next two weeks, an over whelming majority of ncaa fans will trade their belove college game for madden 07, which did an excellent job against all the michael vick wannbes.

Or maybe they released the game knowing it was messed up so they could make a patch and charge more money for it.... conspiracy...

Yeah, the day we get a patch... well... it's just not going to happen.

Boodee-hoo. I hate whining, so I'll never do it.

Life is tough. You got a raw deal. Everyone is out to get you.

Play the video game - or do not...

... but there definitely is no try.

What will stop the running qb in ncaa 07 is another running qb, along with a good combination of man, zone and combo blitzes.

Yeah, I know the running QB is hard to stop, but look at the way vick has dominated madden over the years. Vick has been in the past three madden challenge finals, teams using falcons, and only lost last year due to excessive fumbling.

Really, if you hate the running qb, either don't play against the top teams with running qb's, or use one yourself.

Not really much you can do about it right now. Next year it will change, because I doubt you'll be able to run backwards with your 84 speed qb, throw it 50 yards down field, and still be able to complete 60 percent of your passes.

Scrambling QBs are contained better now than in the past few years, believe it or not.

I play with CU and use B-Jack and there are people who have no problems stopping him. Sure, I play some folks who have a hard time against him, but it can be done.

Some skilled players out there just own me and actually force me to stay in the pocket with him.
