I read that if you press pause before the first kickoff, then the game will d/c.
This has happened to me three games in a row now. The kickoff is fine, but as soon as I pick a play and snap the ball the game disconnects. I thought xbox live was better because you had to pay for it but it's just as bad as Sony.

yea i thought it was just my connection going out but its odd that it kept happening on the first play....hopefully this ish gets fixed
I had this happen and I changed the 5 minute quarters to 4 minute quarters and it hasn't happened again but don't ask why.
