Wheel routes. Remember backs coming out of the backfield don't get blocked, also remember TE's don't get bumped either. Quick slants can be your friend as well depending on down and distance.

I've tried wheel routes but it's hard to get the time to let them develop. Every game comes down me running ins or outs the whole time to my 2 TEs. It's just gay.

And if you play on the road, it's hard to hot route to cancel out the delay before the opponent calls it again.

The worst is when they run delay out of dime, and your 5 offensive linemen plus fullback can't plow the 4 man front on a dive play.

If they aren't blitzing, there shouldn't be too much of a problem. Also..........consider this. Fight cheese with cheese. Use the old "chuck a duck/scramble" offense. They're in man........no one to account for the QB.

May also want to consider screens. If you're going to do them to the WR's make sure you motion the back to the play side of the screen. Wait.........then snap. That'll give you another blocker out there.

Also, this is why 5 Wide is nice to have. The 5th WR will never be bumped. And if you are facing this in Dime for the most part, run the ball...particularly speed option.

Bump and run that is delayed and takes place 5-10 yards downfield.
