    hey philly ron

I am just wondering before i buy if ur book is mostly pass ooriented.I love vg's products but i bought the min pb and returned it because it just didnt fit my style of play.

I play with denver and run mostly a ball control offense with the hou pb.

I dont like buying stuff if it doesnt fit my style of play.

I have to admit the hou pb is a lil tuff to move the ball with the pass.

My book is my style of play so It is ball control but it can also get wide open if my opponent has a powerful offense. I go over about 10 type of runs and break them down, No need to give you 30 runs if they are basicly the same thing. I also do a running the ball section that gives you a scheme that will increase your run production. The passing game has more plays because the game has more passing plays but the book will give you plenty of information to be balanced.

? about Gimmik plays. Gimmik plays are grey area plays. Meaning border line glitch. But they are there for you to see and to learn how to set them up so that you can see where they are weak at. You use at your own risk.

i clicked the link and read about it but what kind of stuff do thet have in it?
do they just show all the plays in the playbook and break down 10 of them?
is it really worth it? or is it just beginner stuff like how 2 use hot routes and stuf like that? do they go in depth with a lot of plays? or is it just basic concepts like how to beat cover 2? plz give me a lil info about it before i buy it

As far as what is in the book. I think I said this in the sales letter. This is what Iuse to compete against the likes of a Big Gene, 40gss, Tommy Gunz and Twan aka Boogieman. ask any competitive player about these guys and only a few have the privilage of saying I can beat them. I mean Genn has won 50,000 grand last year from EA and him and Sandman split 25,000 the year before. These are my head to head guys I play on a regular basis. and then you have the though process used to lab with my WBC members as well. I wouldn't think its basic.

My 1st impressions of the playbook... I thought it had some useful ideas. He has alot of detail with what he likes to do with certain plays. I think he goes over about 40-50 plays. Which should be plenty but it also gives you ideas on how to mix up those same formations with formation shifts to give different looks, so you can maximize passing and running game.

IMO - The titans pb I think has excellent passing routes, but the pb lacks the running plays I tend to favor. Ron J PB does go over some of his favorite run plays and how he like to utilize them.

I don't think it was a waste of money, but it does help me by giving me ideas with my own PB. I probably will not use the titans PB, but I still need to give it some time and practice.

    I hope this helps tjor24

    one more thing to add...

The only thing I wish he would add when writing up instructions would be to add how he is throwing the pass with certain routes. I don't know if its Harrington or what but I always seem to over/under throw the ball. Sometimes you were unsure if he was putting touch on the ball or bullet passing or using the analog stick when reading the PB.

    But it was good Overall

I got Kobra's Vikings Playbook and it has been working for me great. My last 20 games I'm 18-2.

sum of the stuf in the book is really unnecessary. like the pb breakdown and packages. i would think that most ppl no all or at least most of the packages by now. the book is pretty good. i would recommend it, could still be better tho. they should of used more situations like running a certain play against a few different specific plays.

The Vikings playbook is really good too. There isn't much difference in that book and MIA PB. I like the MIA because of the quick audibles are better.

    tjor24:

I agree with you in regards to I could have provided more situations. Whenever I write something I post a message on the board saying "Playbook Interaction" I always give you our customer the chance to send me looks to attack based on what you are coming up against out there. I didn't get to much feed back so I took the most used situation (Blanket Coverage) from a Dime I believe and ran a play against that.
The purpose of the formation shift looks are to provide you with a look of the different looks of the play so that if something jumps out at you, you will be able to grab it and run with it.
And as a writer I can never assume that minor things are unnecessary. If someone was to pick up the game and play it the first time write after buying my book I need to make sure all the basic stuff is there for them also.

I do thank you for your input and recomendation.
