you lost me. Every play in the playbook is from the Titans Playbook. All I said was a diagram may be wrong. The article and images in the articles are all from the Playbook.

about to get the book but question please

i only play the chargers and its always been like (hardcore fan). i'm just wonderin if there are plays there that can utilize gates to his full potential, and if the book would work well with the chargers. thanks in advance!!

    slam

i wish more pa passes came off of slam plays this year. the slam plays in the old maddens used to have a hop step and any blitz could shut it down. but with the way its run this year i think it might be the best running play in the game because its so fast. it acts kind of as a draw because if the defense blizes the wrong spot youre already in the secondary. And its better than any dive play. i just felt like adding this in because i love this play so much. no matter who my back is, i can run it every play for good yds....

    cover 3

RON, how come in your guide"basics of passing"-against cover 3, the defense is in 3-4 cover 3 and the offense is running streaks out of weak i normal, how come the rcb covering the se moves drastically out of the way to help cover the te? ive never been able to get a defender that far out of position by looking off or pump faking. will the defender do that every time with those plays matched up, or was it just a fluke u guys happened to pick as an example?

    Imo

i think it is the route that the TE is running because their is another play i like out of that playbook that makes the safety bite towards the TE leaving the WR open

The rule associated with the Cover 3 defense makes the Safety or Corner Bite. The Cover 3 Safety is really just a Cover 1 Safety, responsibility is Deep Middle. The Deep Middle zone does not mean The safety will play deep middle what it means is The deepest threat I must stay behind him. The TE streak will keep the Safety occupied giving you inside position on one of the corners.
When the Opponent is using a play that has inside dbs to both side like Dime or 3-3-5 then I work away from this play. But its really based on how they manual cover

    Ron J,
Let me say great job on your playbook! I bought it less than 30 minutes after I got the email and I dove in about an hour or so later. Very deep in detail and easy to read and follow. I picked up on the Titans playbook after looking over the plays about 6 weeks ago. I used the Pass Balanced playbook last year and it was my bread & butter. This year's Pass Balanced didn't fit my style of play and I had to search fro the next best thing. Shotty Trips TE is a beast & the plays in the Titans book are more explosive than most I've seen. It seems to work best if you work to establish the run and then open up an air assault once the D starts to believe that the pound is on. A few key points stood out in your book:
-Offensive Package Breakdown: Explains in detail all packages and how you can use them to create an advantage.
-Formation Shifts: Gives real world examples of the shifts and what they could lead an opponent to think.
-Route Moving: Sweet, Sweet, Sweet...explanation of how to assign routes(not hot routes) to different players via hitting certain buttons (worth $20 alone)
-Running the ball: Excellent scheme of looking at defenses and exploiting their weaknesses with a simple system!

Anyone considering getting this, do so if you want to improve your thinking game. Once you get it, practice and get your stick skills down. Then you'll enjoy playing the game from a strategic standpoint. Once again, great job Ron!

I work as hard as I can to keep you ahead of the curve but that still doesn't mean I expected the love Im getting from all of you.
