    madden 2007 pc: SLIDER BUG

    Hi,
some people reported a very incredible bug about sliders in online game.

    bug is:
every online league sets slider in madden.ini to put madden more realistic for league match, but from this year in ONLINE GAME only game difficult (all-madden, all-pro, pro etc) is keeping. ALL others sliders go on 50 % (default) by program.
    ---
    EA contacted said:
Thank you for contacting EA technical support. I am sorry that you are having difficulty.
The sliders for the game will go to default for network games like IP to IP. This is by designed so that the sliders will be the same for both players
    ----

Then this is not a bug, but a choise of EA.
I think EA must go out this change in the next patch, Leagues want play in own way and not in a simple way as default sliders are.

    have you news about that?

    Noone know about this.
This problem could put every game with 400yds rb gain.
Every long pass received from WR.
Online game will be a high scores match with yads and td and all you can image. This is non football

this is just another example on Ea trying to kill ip-ip online leagues on the pc

    First they removed online franchise

Then injuries in ip-ip games that last longer than a qtr or 2

    now this

next will be the ability to play via ip-ip

Ok it is clear as a water, but now where can we play in realistic way? For me play vs PC is bad, i want a human opponent in my ip-to ip league.

they won't be happy till they force everyone to play on easo

all Ea had to do to make where people were using the same sliders for league was

    1. make the slider screen viewible after connecting at the play select screen

    2. if both players didn't have the same Ai sliders the game would not connect with a error stating that the sliders didn't match

I think point 1 and 2 (you wrote) would be a normal think in madden 2007, but so it's not. And seen we gave our money for a videogame, EA MUST allow us to play like we want.

Sliders in online game MUST BE FREE.
This is a FORUM near to EA STAFF, then they say something about that.
