By press he means bump.

Well the entire posting is too long and dull. At the same time it is also informative. Thanks a lot for the info. The guide mentioned below is really helpful. But there are many questions that I would certainly ask. It is vast in number so can't decide where to start and where to end. It's obvious I would like to start from basic procedures.

I use the roadmap here, then refer to the guide here and at TA if Im having trouble with something specific. Then if for some reason that didnt cover it, Id hit YT. Never even get that far usually, and thus never considered resorting to PS3 guides.
