    Fumbles In Dynasty

Does everyone have troubles with fumbles in dynasty mode? I lose about everyother game because of this. The season before my running back had 9 fumbles and all my wrs had at least 4.

My sliders are slightly fixed in favor of computer and I run my dynasty in All-American. Is there ANY way I can lower my fumbles?

9 fumbles honestly i dont think is that bad for a whole season in this years game. I dont play dynasty but online and playing friends, fumbles can get real annoying. i've had 3 in one game before. try covering up the ball more with your tailback right before he gets hit. This seems to help some. With you playing the computer is harder because if the computer controlled team wants a fumble they will get one. If you dont have good receivers avoid throwing to the middle with alot of defenders close by. This seems to be when my receivers fumble the most or the dreaded big hit. Good Luck hope this helps. later.

I have my share of fumbles too but I don't think I've had 9 in one season. I play on PS2 in Heisman mode using Tennessee. Maybe this will help:

    1. Get your momentum up a little before throwing and catching/running into heavy coverage. The more momentum you have the less chance of a fumble in general. I'll start by running speed options or throwing short safe passes or passes to the sidelines and get a couple of first downs to get my momentum going.

    2. Use the "stiff arm" button whenever approaching a defender and "cover up" as much as possible. I can't remember the last time I fumbled while covering the ball up. Avoid juking or spinning when facing more than one defender.

    3. Avoid throwing or running into multiple coverage unless you're desperate for the yardage. A clean 5-yard gain with the ball is better than coughing it up after a 20 yard catch.

    Hope this helps.

Ok, thanks guys. I did notice that who ever has the momentum gets a lot of Fumbles/Ints their way. 3 in one game aint that much for me. Id love to have that. I probably fumble about 5 times a game average. My Rb once had 4 or 5 in one game, In my other dynasty with Vandy. My Running back had like 17 fumbles. Thats just too many. I will defintly use yalls advice to improve my game.

Another thing, Ever notice how you can stomp a Good Team then get your butt kicked by some crappy team. That just pisses me off.

Well im still havin fumble probelms. In my last game I had six fumbles and lost five. The Computer had 4 fumbles and lost all 4 of them. My backup Rb had 3 fumbles in a row. Would it work if I turned the Running back ability up and lowered the line blocking a little?

That sounds like a lot of fumbles. I don't know if that has to do with you playing in AA mode or sliders. Like I said I've only played in Heisman with default sliders so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Your last post tells me you had a total of 10 fumbles in one game. I played two offline games last night against a friend and we had 3 fumbles and two INTs between us in those two games. He was using Ohio St. and I had Tenn. Check your HB carrying ratings and see if they're not much lower than HBs from other schools. Try default sliders and see how much difference that makes. If you can identify what causes so many fumbles you should be able to take that part out of the game to make it more fun. I can't remember the last time I had more than 5 (from either side) fumbles much less 10 in any game.
