Creating pocket pressure. Getting key tackles and sacks. Stopping the run. DTs do a lot, they just normally dont get the credit for the tackle.

if theyre 93+ i would say ive noticed their stats are like 40+ tackles with at least 7 sacks. especially now if they have any roles

The same reason why the best linemen don't score 3 TDs per game.
Sports don't teach character...they expose it.

see what a difference it makes in ur ability to stop the run with ****ty DTs and with good DTs. You'll notice your linebackers are free much more often with good DTs as they take up blocks so your defense can make plays. My MLB just had back to back 18 and 19 tackle games after i started teh season with a 99 DT and a 90 DT.

That's a lot of tackles in one game.

The DTs would have better stats if there were gang tackles in Madden but there isn't. But DTs still do a lot for stopping the run and collapsing the pocket.

yeah just as a disclaimer i dont regularly get 18-19 tackles a game with my MLB, on average i'd get 9-12, i dont want to be flamed for "playing on rookie" or whatever. but I did notice my MLBs have an easier time avoiding blockers with a good D-Line in front of them.

Most 90+ DTs in Madden would get more sacks if some of these QBs wouldn't make impossible last minute throws. If there was a catagory right beside sacks called "QB hurries," most of those "sackless" DTs would have alot of hurries.

I wish there were other stats for DTs, so if I'm using a 3-4 and sim the NT stats don't go down from lack of "production."
