Adjusting Roster for Online Play?

This may be pretty silly of me to ask, but how do you guys adjust your roster to your likings without having to pause the game and adjust it with that 30sec timer? Everytime I play online, I have to pause the game, re-order the roster and make a few adjustments and I usually get it off before the 30sec timer.

However, I want to experiment a bit more with other defensive schemes such as the 4-3 base again, but those adjustments take waaay too long for me to make within that 30sec time period if my opponent is not patient since my team is better adjusted for a 3-4 base by default and I have to usually burn two pauses and it gets annoying.

I just wanna make the changes off-line, save it and go str8 to playing without having to pause for adjustments. How can you do this, I know you probably can, I just can't figure it out?

you can change the depth chart online and save it as a roster file. load it before you go online and all your changes will be set.

i used to do this last year, and then i had problems with it this year, but i've done it with the new update and it works. you still have to get subs done in 30 secs though, that sucks. not sure how to save subs offline.

Thanks man, I'll check that out. I don't mine adjusting subs though because I only make a few for offense/special teams, not as much for Defense.

Yah, I have my adjustments set up, and you can also lower your teams rating by putting in less skilled players at the top positions.

LOL I didnt know people still did this. I thought EA took that out of the game after '04. Thats why rank means nothing right there...Too funny

BOOBOO even easier just reogranize the depth chart offline and save. It will be automatically set up even for online play. Same with playbook. What ever playbook you have online as your fav will automatically me loaded into for online play.
