PC version w/ a 360 controller?

Was at a friend's house, he runs the game @ 1600x1200 on his pc, and it looks sweet as hell. Dare I say better than even the 360. He uses the keyboard and mouse though, no controller. I couldn't get used to that.

Anyone play the PC version w/ a 360 controller? Also wondering if I get some skills goin' on the pc, will that carry over to the other versions, i.e. xbox, ps2, etc. Or is each version that different playwise nowadays?

When I plugged my 360 controller
into my laptop, the default configuration
was the same as the ps2. Worked great!!

If you get good with your 360 controller
using the ps2 configuration, your skills
will translate to the ps2. They're pretty
much identical games with the exception of
the hit/highlight stick - just got the game
not to long ago and it didn't seem to be
in the game the few times I played it. Doesn't
make a huge difference to me, I'm just stoked
to be able to lab on the go now.

Yep right here. I use a MadCatz 360 controller (wired) with the drivers from
http://xbcd360guide.myboard.info/index.php

Works great, since with the driver, I get a true Xbox360 layout and the actual letters (i.e. X, B, Y, etc.) are shown on the screen.

Works like a charm.
