Its crunch time and you need 1 yard! Your goto running play is...?

big point in the game...you need that 1 or 2 yards to convert. your gonna run the ball...your goto play is...?

i personally like the fb fake hb toss play. it's great if you have a back who can get outside quickly and if you have a reliable tackle to seal off any edge rushers to the side you run towards. how bout you fellas??

I like off tackle plays either out of I Form Big or Goaline. I see a lot of players are now stacking the middle to stop the dive plays.

Come out in goal line FB fake HB toss. If they leave the middle open I R-Stick audible to QB sneak or hb dive, if they freeze their D so the corners are outside I'll run off tackle.

Yeah put QB Sneak + FB Dive in audibles (goalline of course) and call Strong Toss. If they don't keep their corners out (freeze D) then you can usually break the strong toss for 20-30 yards. Heck even if they do and they didn't use the LB for CB package (jumbo I think) run it and truck the corner.

Singleback big jumbo (only in wash's pb) basically the same as singleback big 3 TE, HB Plunge. Use a bruiser at HB, like brandon jacobs and it is virtually unstoppable. I run this play 10-15 times per game and I can still go to it late in the fourth on a short yardage situation and get it nearly everytime, even though the d knows its coming.

I'm going to add my vote for weak I twin Wr Fb dive. it's quick run right behind Lt who is usually lined up opposite a speed end, will it break for 20 ? usually not, but it will get that yd when you need it. Everyones always thinking about runs that can be broken for 30- 40 yds I'm finding I don't need 175 rushing yds to win, I just need to be able to move the chains a few times at the right time ( usually for me the 3qtr)
