    Thanks

But I've been running this book for along time. Just curious to see what other skins PB users go to for 3rd and long.

I don't use the SKinns book for this reason... I Used it all last year but it seemed to have some Blocking problems..

Do what everyone online does to me.. RUN A SCREEN!! OMG that drives me crazy. Its 3-14 next thing I know. SCREEN first down

One of the reasons why i like the Shotgun Wing Trips is I can tell what Defense the opponent is playing by the way the DBs line up over the WR's and TE. The TE playing back off the LOS gives me a great look at him going to the sidelines in loose man coverage. I have WR Corner as one of my audibles. So between that, the preset audibles and knowing what the defense is in before the play starts gets me out of 3rd and long. I wont post anything specific for all to see, but since your on XBOX and Im on PS2. You will just have to go to practice mode and call some defenses, look where they line up and play call accordingly.

Single Back Trips can be formation shifted into so there are a few BNR beaters there.

the two singleback stack formations have several parallel routes that force the safety to choose one threat or the other. those are good on 3rd and long and have some unbumpables. The key for me at least is to use line shifting and hot blocking if need be.

Sorry man, if you were on PS2, we could play.

The only thing i hate about this book is the lack of FB dives
The only good ones are in Ifform twin TE but you cant formation shift out of.

My 2 cents for 3&long with the Washington PB:

Shotgun Wing Trips - Vertical TE Cross

    1) The trips form on one side gives you fairly easy pre-read on the defense: man or zone.

2a) If man, then audible the slot receivers route to a hook, and extend it to a first down. High pass it for a first down.

2b) If zone, go compression and marry the Streak-Corner-Curl combo by audibling the TE on a streak, the slot on a corner, and the outside receiver on a curl route. Extend the curl route to the first down.

    3) If you have stick:
Extend the TE route for a first down.
    Drop back & pump fake.
Read the D - and deep lob it to your receiver of choice - the TE coming across the middle or the slot or outside receiver.

Click on and user catch it for the first down.

I there are a handful of plays that I use. I really like the stack formations for 3rd and long myself. I've never been a shotgun type of guy. I use the Jets and Skins PB and I never really use shotgun unless I'm trying to get help (blocking) on outside heat but I'll keep those in mind definitely.

I just came back to the Skins book. I was really into my Jets PB but I need some more variety and I love the way you can really run the ball with that playbook. I find myself more balanced when I use that book.

But thanks for the feedback. I'll lab up on the shotgun and maybe incorperate it more.
