    Help: SG Splitbacks

I played a guy last night who literally ran the same play on me all night long. He was in Shotgun splitback three WRs formation. He would hot route the WR's and tailbacks every play.

Regardless what ever defense I ran he had and answer. I would blitz my safties out of the dime 326 and he would hit one of his tailbacks quickly. I would run the same defense but manually cover the tailback he threw the most to and he would hit a slanting WR. I tried blizting my LB's and he would run around in the pocket until someone came open.

I tried Zone defenses and he would sit back in the pocket and pick me apart. typically while I was in Zone he would complete a long pass on me user catching the ball. I also tried Zone blitzes and he step into the pocket and then scramble around in the backfield until someone was open

The only success I had is when I ran the 326 dime and blited my safties as well as my LBs. I was able to sack him once, and then the play never worked again.

To top it all off the guy played cheese on offense. which reaaly ticks me off. He always went for it on fourth down except the one time I stopped in on the five yard line. regardless of the yardage or field position. Also,he always went for two points and eventually started kicking onside kicks.

I did start cheesing back though running the flea flicker, which I probably should not have done, but I was getting so frustrated at all the cheese and the fact it was the same play.

I will say that while I do not calim to be one of the elite players in the game, I am not terrile either so I do not think it was my lack of "joystick control."

If anybody has any suggestions please help. I should say though that I got stupid and picked Oregan while he was playing as Notre Dame I should have picked a better team

    Flea flicker? What flea flicker?

You should've tried using dime 3-2-6 with the blitz cover 2 defense. Use coverage audible down to bump the outside WR's. Manually take one of the corners that are blitzing and blitz from the wide side of the field. Shift the d line down and stunt them down as well.

    Thanks

    Thank you.

Yeah, the flea-flicker is a glitch play on the xbox 360. you chose a play where the quarterback has the option to handoff or pass. At the snap of the ball you handoff and immediately lateral back to the QB the DB will 9/10 be sucked in and your WRs are wide open. The problem is if your Wr does not catch the ball it is a fumble. it actually goes down in the game as a run stat.
It is total cheese and I hate it when people do it, but Ilearned how because I do it now to anybody who cheeses me.
