    Short Snap Shotgun???

Alright so I lose to this cat. And not to be a whiner but I dropped two wide open sure TD passes and lost by ten. He also sat on the ball half way thru the third which is my fault 'cause I shouldn't have let him get first downs. But this isn't about that. So I look at his career after the game is done, and it says his favorite offensive formation is Short Snap Shotgun????????

What the hell is that? And before I get 900 posts sayin' it's a shorter snapped shotgun...I want to know where the hell this formation is found? And I mean it wasn't like this cat was exceptionally good or anything, he was just average, he had some like I dunno..pre-packaged zone blitzes or something...not especially tricky...I just got unlucky on two big plays.

But can anybody..ANYBODY out there in VG land explain to me what the hell this short snap shotgun formation is about? And what playbook is it in? And more specifically, why have I...in my seven + Madden years NEVER, EVER heard or seen this formation????????????????????????

Short Snap is the Two Back SG set in GB's book.
Its very potent when run with skill.

Its like Nevada's Pistol sets in that the QB is almost under center.
He's only about a yard behind the center.

Yep, I checked it out, its pretty nice. The rest of the book isnt bad either. Same with Bal. Does any other book have this formation?

Bal doesnt have it, I dont think, but just look at the different Shotty formations in GB, you can tell the QB is closer in that formation.
