Anyone interested in a Wii League for Madden '08?
I mentioned this in another thread, have talked to a few people about it, and have had a few people tell me they would be interested so I figure I will see exactly how much interest there would be in a Wii League for Madden '08. I am currently one of the co-owners of NGCFL, the PS3 NCAA '08 League, so I am getting my feet wet as far as running a league, although I have been involved in several leagues over the past 2 years.
As for a possible Wii League, I am in the process of getting a Wii, mainly because EA has confirmed that Madden '08 for the Wii will have online play. Of course, that opens up the possibility of being able to start a league, which of course leads to this discussion. And, this assumes that I can get the Wii by buying it online without some sort of ridiculous three month backlog or something like that.
With that being said though, if interest is there, there would be no charge to play, I would run the league off of League Daddy (hopefully with the help of some good co-commissioners) and I would ask for a forum here at VG. At a minimum, I figure we would need 8 owners, with each one controlling 2 teams, to make it worthwhile. If we had anything over 8 owners, then not everyone would need 2 teams and we could just fit people with teams as they sign up.
