    Flats

Just finished playing at a friend's house on next gen. We played 4 games. Anyone else notice that RB passes to the flats are very hard to contain? It reminded me of 05' almost. Maybe it was just me since it was my first time playing in like 3 weeks.

I've been able to shutdown the flats for the most part, and contain the screen play. It's not as hard as it sounds.

I usually can get people in position to make plays against the flats. My problem is i can't seem to make open field tackles online. I do fine offline but I guess the slight lag has something to do with it.

On regular Xbox I threw a pass to the flat against a Cover 2 zone where the DB did not bump the WR. I threw a quick pass to the flat to the TE which was usually good for 3-8 yards on '06 and the DB picked it and took it to the house. I checked the DB's SPD and it was like 95 or 98. I have been very reluctant to throw to the TE running that flat route since.

Also, my HB gets eat up when I throw to him in the flat vs. man coverage. He sort of comes back for the ball and the defender just flies to the flat to cover him. I've been meaning to try this with a faster HB, but have not yet to see if that is the problem.
