    help stopping the quick jump-pass

i just got done (losing) to a guy that was 46-2 and i knew he had something special

well long story short he was amazing at using the fade pass (you know the one where they snap and throw high)

well how do i stop it?

i tried zone, zone in the flats (like Co. 2) and also man to man with a bump

he was good at all aspects of the game regardless but it sure would have been nice to stop him on the third downs when he always resorted to that cheezy pass system

thanks in advance for any help

bump his guy, then move your corner inside and back about a yard or two. If nothing else, call a defense like 34 dogs fire, and put both OLB in purple zones.

Use delay bump. To do this, call man to man coverage, bump, then flip the play twice. After you set it up you cannot shift your line or linebackers (this cancels the delay bump), but you can crash the line and move your linebackers individually.

You can also have your CB in a deep blue zone and move him a few yards back and to the inside.

These are the two easiest ways to stop it.

the easiest way to stop a quick pass is to bump the WR the quick pass is going to, then you simply move back 3yds and place him to the outside shoulder of the WR. also you wanna shade the inside of the WR triangle (the button of the WR) L1. once the ball is hike wen the user tries to quick pass the CB will wait till the WR makes his cut then jam him and the timing will always b broke up and it'll be an incomplete pass!
All right Mister, let me tell you what winning means you're willing to go longer,

I feel your pain. I played a one trick pony yesterday who resorted to his quick pass on every 3rd down. Today I labbed up 3-3-5 cover 3 and that seems to get defenders in the right
place. Also try 3-3-5 man under this might slow down an quick passer. Good luck
