Photoshop CS2
ok.. what you need to do is make layers (frames) each layer has to have not only the bg.. but the gif in it.. then transfer it over to image ready.. save for web as an animated gif.. and your set...Originally Posted by NickC50310
make sense??..

That makes sense. I am so close I can taste it damnit! LOL!!
My problem is that the stuff just doesnt line up right. I get the background aligned but then it appears out of position in all the other frames. Then, if I move the animation to where I want it, it is out of position on all the frames except the one. I tried selecting all the layers and moving them but alas, it didnt work.
Heres what Im doing:
open animation in ImageReady
export to ps
resize canvas to match sig size
put main sig (background) in at the bottom layer
send it back to image ready
try to position everything.
Thoughts? Thanks for all your help!
You have to put the back ground on every frame of the gif not just the bottom oneOriginally Posted by NickC50310

First of all.. NEVER make a gif bigger then 90 frames... it will be soooo huge that it will bog down every computer that looks at it. In fact.. as big as your bg is... you may not want to go over 50 framesOriginally Posted by NickC50310
next... yes... there is a way to do that on image ready.. no.. I dont know how..
I'm using ps elements so I have to merge it to every frame.

Victory is mine! Thanks Mike!! Youre awesome brother!
Is there a way to save it so it doesnt look so grainy? I saved it optimized from ImageReady as a GIF.
